"Astonished Harvest," is a program in poetry and medicine at the Stony Brook University Medical Center's new Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care and Bioethics (www.stonybrook.edu/bioethics).   Poets from Astonished Harvest will present their work and also offer an open mic for those in the audience who wish to read poems informed by the experience of illness and healing.
