Calling all Whitman descendants, namesakes and friends!!Join other Whitman family members for an afternoon gathering filled with family stories, Whitman artifacts, and Whitman himself (Darrel Ford, Whitman personator). You will be invited to contribute to the Whitman Family Reunion Oral History Documentary.Come enjoy refreshments on our shaded picnic tables. Take a tour of the Birthplace, listen to period music, join in on games of the era Curator, Richard Ryan, will discuss Birthplace history and will lecture on Whitman family history and local descendants. Honor our past, embrace our present and help build our future as we invite you to celebrate with those who also support Walt Whitman’s life and legacy.Location: Walt Whitman Birthplace
