WWBA is delighted to present “American Masters & Their Influences: European Literary Realism”— A Discussion Series. Over six weeks, we will read short stories and view films of works by major European authors and how they influenced the works of early 20th century American authors. Participants will receive free links to readings and YouTube videos to review before each week’s meeting. There will also be suggested movies that can be rented online. WWBA Writer in Residence George Wallace will lead this 6-part series.

WEEK 4:

Tennessee Williams: Glass Menagerie, Streetcar Named Desire

 

WEEK 5:

Hemingway: Hills like White Elephants, A Cat in the Rain

Miller: A View From The Bridge
