WWBA is delighted to present Poetic Yoga and Meditation with WWBA Long Island Poet of the Year 2020 Christina M. Rau. On a chair or on a mat, in the comfort of your own home or in person at the Birthplace, you can join in for a session of meditation, yoga, and a little bit of poetry listening. Breathe and move to settle your thoughts and find some moments of calm and peace. Listen to some eerie poems in celebration of the spookiest day of the year!
Open to all levels, including first-timers. Join us virtually or in person!
If joining us in person: Please arrive at 2:15PM bring your own mat or towel to sit on. Alternatively, you may sit on a chair provided by the Birthplace. Costumes not required but encouraged!
**Please Note: If you Join this Event In-Person you will be Outdoors – Masks are Required While Inside the Buildings**

Christina M. Rau is a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor, a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner, and an award-winning poet who currently serves as Oceanside Library’s Poet in Residence and was named WWBA’s Long Island Poet of the Year in 2020. She has practiced yoga since her teen years and has taught in yoga studios and in private sessions for over a decade.
