Jami Macarty’s “The Minuses” is an ecofeminist book of poems, concerned with endangerments to women and ecology. Dayna Patterson’s “If Mother Braids a Waterfall” is a book obsessed with motherhood and daughterhood, ancestry, and transition—of home, family, faith, and the narratives woven to uphold the Self.
